These are base prices published by Theory. Final pricing may vary with hair length and density, and with the experience level of the requested stylist.
Style
Blowouts & event styling
Blowouts $40–$55 depending on length, density or extensions. Event style $55; upstyle $80. Bang trim $10 and braiding $20+.
Colour
Classic colour
Root re-touch $125+, full colour $145+ and bleach root touch-up $140+. With a haircut: $165+, $185+ and $180+.
Dimension
Foils
Partial foils $140+ or $180+ with a haircut. Full head foils $165+ or $205+ with a haircut.
Custom
Balayage, ombré & corrections
Balayage and ombré are $96/hour, minimum $240; with a haircut, minimum $288. Colour correction is $110/hour, minimum $330 or $385 with a haircut.
Texture
Perms & smoothing
Liquid Keratin smoothing treatment $220. Perms from $125–$165+ by length. Spiral perm $240+ and requires a consultation.
Details
Brows, lashes & treatments
Eyebrow and eyelash tinting are available. Deep conditioning treatments may be added when booking at least a blowout. Contact Theory for current tinting and treatment pricing.

Theory Hair Studio is currently inviting applications for a full-time licensed hair stylist. The studio describes a creative, close-knit workplace focused on client care, ongoing education and supporting one another.
- Alberta licence required; Red Seal preferred but not necessary

How do I cancel or change an appointment?
Call 587-617-6204 and leave a voicemail if no one is available. Theory asks for at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged 50% of the service’s menu price.
What should I do if I am running late?
Call the studio as soon as possible. If Theory cannot contact you 15 minutes into the appointment, it is treated as a no-show and the remaining time may be offered to another guest.
What is the no-show policy?
A no-show is subject to a fee equal to the base menu price. A credit card may be required to secure future bookings, and repeat no-shows may need to prepay in full.
What if I am unhappy with a service?
Theory does not offer monetary refunds on completed services, but offers a seven-day window to arrange a correction with the original stylist or another member of the team.
Can I return a hair-care product?
Theory does not offer refunds, but will exchange a product within seven days at the same value if it is more than three-quarters full and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Are the listed service prices final?
They are base prices. The final price may vary with hair length and density, and with the experience level of the requested stylist.
Is there anything to know during an appointment?
Theory asks guests to keep devices silent during appointments for the comfort and enjoyment of staff and other clients.
